Jakub Grabowski★★★★★

"Mobile homes are very good and well equipped, between pine trees casting shadow. Staff is nice and helpful. It's perfect place for lake holiday as it's at the bank of small lake on verdon river. It's clean and provides access to nice part of Verdon canyon. One thing worth noting is that location is far from shops and attractions. Perfect for people looking for tranquility, but be aware of it. Local camping shop could be improved a little, but overall it's very good place for active family holiday."

"Beautiful location and setting. Clean, well maintained. We loved our accommodation with SPA and bbq. Most of the time the staff were very helpfull and kind. Lovely pool area. We didn't get a table in the restaurant after we arrived. They were full and we were not advised to book a table in advance. Got some food to takeaway from the restaurant. Also some bar staff were not pleasant, poor customer service skills. The entertainment only in French but in general it's not something we do on holidays so didn't bother us that much. My rating would be somewhere between 4 and 5."

"Beautiful camping, super dog friendly, very close the the beautiful lake, a lot of water sport options. Very clean and new facilities. The only problem we had, is that they did not have any gluten free options in the restaurant and the shop."

"We stayed in one of the safari lodges, the accommodation was great! The campsite was well looked after. A bit disappointed that for a 5* campsite the boat rental wasn’t included in the pricing, which was a bit surprising. Aside from that would definitely recommend if you have a dog as having the lake on site was adored by our dog."

"This is not a 5 star fresh air hotel as advertised. It is pleasant and quite enjoyable but it had some way to go before it can be called five star. In reality it is a very good three star. For example when you need help especially after hours you simply cannot get it; the character of the site changes at the weekend (Thursday to Sunday) when a much younger crowd arrives and I suspect a lot of outsiders get in too. They party until dawn and keep us older people wake all night. The entertainment is a bit noisy and is aimed at the younger guests but it does end before 11pm. The pitches are very stony and need to be cleared in order to have a comfortable ( 2 weeks in our case) stay. The toilet and shower blocks get very dirty between cleans and 66% of toilets run out of paper. Wi-fi is an issue. It is advertised as being available across the site. No, it is not, and the staff admit this when you tell them. When any of the foregoing were reported to staff there was not a glimmer of interest and you get typical Gallic shrugs as if to say "You expect me to do something about it!" Well, yes I did! That is the bad news.||The good news includes the location of the site which is excellent being right next to one of the smaller lakes in the Verdon Gorges and within easy reach of the main attractions along the gorge. There are lots of good walks that you can take along the gorge and between local villages. There are boats available on the lake though they are a little expensive but the trip along the river in both directions is something special. The site shop is first class with fresh baked produce at least twice a day and a good fairly priced range of good. The restaurant is very good too and the take away pizzas are very nice and well priced.||There is also a very nice, family owned restaurant in the village of St Laurent and you can drive there or walk. The food is all cooked freshly so don't expect fast food unless you want a pizza but it is well worth the wait and the family are very nice and engaging too."
