"We stayed one night and loved it, such a warm welcome! It’s an incredible place with such history the family having owned it for generations, they have recently refurbished and the showers are fab! They went out of their way for us even making a reservation at a restaurant as they don’t serve dinner. Brush up your French and visit!"
"We stayed here for one night while exploring the Somme. The owners of this lovely Chateau are amazingly warm and welcoming, even though we don't speak any French, and they don't speak any English. They still managed to communicate the location of many nearby restaurants and recommendations of places to visit. The Chateau itself if beautifully refurbished, and in a wonderful setting. Breakfast was a treat, with fresh warm bread and a great selection of toppings. Our only complaint is that we were only here for one night. We would really like to return and explore the region further. Highly recommended."
"Stay here! ||My wife and I were visiting world war 1 monuments and this lovely chateau is perfectly located close by in a quiet leafy village. ||Lovely people have owned this grand house for generations. Very friendly very generous. ||Room was lovely high ceilings big windows wood floors overlooking the parish church. At.same time super modern shower and bathrooms.||See the main staircase, big fireplaces painted ceilings and mouldings around house. Plenty of places to sit outside overlooking the grounds. ||Very moderate cost for the experience. Feels like a family inviting you into their home rather than a hotel but they are not intrusive. Great breakfast. ||As they note on their website they dont do dinner so eat first in Albert (8 mins away) or Amiens. We brought our own pate and cheese olives and wine and sat on veranda, fantastic!"
"In all my years of travelling in France I have never stayed in a better B&B. The Château itself is beautiful and Olivier and his parents have spent six years restoring it to its former glory but have skilfully included all mod cons. It has four en-suite rooms each of which has a different decor and the main dining room and salon are just superbly finished. As others have said our hosts could not have done more for us from booking restaurants and even driving us there to tea and cakes on the terrace after a hard days sightseeing. The Château is set in farmland so very tranquil and has lovely gardens with some play equipment for children. There is even a BBQ you can use if you wish. While we were there the local restaurants were closed for the summer so we had to go some distance to Amiens to find dinner but as I said Olivier and his parents helped us and also suggested places to visit. They don’t speak much English but were very happy to put up with our rusty French. We only stayed two days but I’m quite sure we will return. This is an absolute gem of a place and only about two and a half hours from Calais. Such kind people. Merci beaucoup Olivier"
"We had a wonderful stay at this beautifully restored Chateau. The whole place was just so beautiful it felt like something from a movie. The hosts were very friendly and welcoming and while they don't speak English it was easy enough to get by. We were travelling with our 3 month old and they are very well equipped for infants. We were provided with a cot and there is a change table downstairs. The hosts also brought out an activity mat so the baby could play while we enjoyed the amazing breakfast. The location is perfect for exploring the Somme. I am so pleased I chose this place over a hotel in Amiens or Albert. It was easy to find and parking is not a problem. If you want a very French experience look no further than this place, you won't regret it."
