"Lovely campsite by lake. Small village with super market and usual shops. Pitches are spacious and some overlook the lovely lake. Small covered pool. Very friendly managers, husband and wife team."

"Love this site, Thomas and Cristal the most amazing hosts. Clean and tidy facilities sunny or shaded pitches close to a lake. Walking and cycling routes close by. Lovely walk into town where there is small supermarket, tabac, 2 x Boulanger's, butchers and a lovely bistro restaurant or a 10 minute drive into bigger town for Carrefour etc. Ideal campsite."

"Found this campsite as we were looking in the area whilst touring France. Came across this site and what a fantastic site. Easy access on arrival. Very friendly welcome and good information on the area and activities. The pitch we booked was big as are all the pitches on this site (we booked a fully serviced pitch). It has everything that you need on a small site, Pool, toilets and showers, and washing both dishes and cloths. The site is right on the banks of a lake that has a gravel path all the way around. All in all a great site that we wished we could have stayed longer but will definatley return to."

"Wow! What a find! Turned up to reception and had a lovely welcome. The gentleman showed us to the pitch to make sure it was OK. It was. Way big enough for our American motorhome, our car and the trailer and still heaps of room to sit out. To be fair all the pitches were huge and we could have fitted on most of them. The pitches that overlook the lake were all full and I could see why as they have lovely views. The site has direct access to the lake which you can walk all the way round on a gravel path. The Yacht Club held an event which if you remember Its a Knockout you will get the jist! 16 teams had built their own rafts and dressed up to race and try and get to the finish line first. What a laugh. The site is very well kept and very clean. The swimming pool is small but again very clean. You can get into Le Mans (20 miles away) easily and that is well worth visiting. The Cathedral is lovely and so is the Old Quarter or Plantagenet area. All in all we really enjoyed our stay and our only grump was that we hadn't booked for longer. We will definitely return. "Brilliant site , very welcoming, Christelle and Thomas do a great job . |We love the situation next to the lake and all the facilities are spotless. The pitches are spacious and the town of Tuffé is within walking distance of the site ,so you can top up your suppplies . |I would highly recommend Camping du Lac whether it be for a family holiday or for couples . |During high season the activities for children take place every morning and the pool is ideal for all ages . There are well sign posted walks and cycle rides for the more energetic.Bikes can be hired at the and BBQ’s are available too ."
