"We spent 1 night in this massive, old house which seemed lovely on the outside. We were given rooms in what appeared to be a poorly and cheaply converted barn, complete with massive barn door (which did not close or lock) and wide plank ancient floors. Our rooms were fine - clean, well appointed, decent windows etc. but the entire "space" appeared to be undergoing renovations. Further, we had to go down 60 steps and then outside to access the "restaurant" which turned out to be closed for the season, so when we arrived we had no way to get food. Most disappointing. This should have been made clear at booking. Further, there was no wifi in the rooms and the only place to access it was outside on the patio, which was very cold. It seemed like we were at a ski lodge on off season and were simply being tolerated and given a place to sleep...bare bones, not enjoyable at all. I would have left if we had had any options. That being said, the owner was lovely and pleasant."
"Amazing place to chill out in the Alps. The restaurant is spot on, local produce and delicious food. You can have an aperitif on the terrace looking over the Lac d'embrun and the valley."

"Questa splendida struttura di montagna si trova in una posizione incantevole, proprio al confine tra Italia e Francia. Siamo partiti da Torino in auto e, dopo circa tre ore di viaggio, ci siamo ritrovati immersi nella natura incontaminata dei contrafforti delle Alpi francesi, a pochi passi dalla graziosa cittadina di Embrun. Il luogo è perfetto per chi cerca pace, silenzio e un’occasione per riconnettersi con se stesso lontano dal caos quotidiano. I panorami sono mozzafiato, il verde che circonda la struttura è rigenerante e l’atmosfera rilassante contribuisce a rendere il soggiorno davvero speciale. Il servizio è stato eccellente: i proprietari sono persone accoglienti e disponibili, sempre pronti a far sentire gli ospiti come a casa. Il cibo è genuino, gustoso e preparato con cura: una vera coccola dopo una giornata tra passeggiate e aria di montagna. Consiglio vivamente questo posto a chiunque abbia voglia di staccare la spina e vivere un’esperienza autentica tra le montagne"
